Summary
|
The main objective of the project is to serve as a base for the development and implementation of public policies in Brazil which aim to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions. The Project includes four sectors: agriculture, forests, and other land uses (AFOLU); transportation; energy; and solid residuals. ICONE worked on the first sector, applying the BLUM (Brazilian Land Use Model) to make projections and simulations in scenarios of low GHG emissions for production and land-use within agricultural activities by micro-region in Brazil until 2030.
